Obituary of Louise Gartner

Louise Gartner was born February 29, 1932 in Grosswerder, Saskatchewan to parents, Andrew and Julia Friedrich. She was the eldest of five children.
Louise married Wendelin Gartner October 21, 1952. They raised five children on the family homestead.
She enjoyed many things especially helping on the farm, as well as gardening, noodle making, playing cards, attending social events, baking, community involvement, charity work, camping with family and she adored all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Louise passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Macklin, Saskatchewan at the age of 92 years.
Louise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, daughter, Bernadette (Ronald) Martinka and their children, Glen (Tracy) and their daughter, Olivia; Darren (Rhiannon), Colin (Jennifer) and their son, Colton; Shane (Pamela) and their sons, Teigan and Parker; Lisa (Greg) Solberg and their sons, Tyson and Rhett; sons, Larry and Alvin (†Lori Chotowetz); daughter, Elaine (Tom) Hollman and their children, Karley (Brad) Duncan and their sons, Avery and Madden; Jenna (Kyle) Carlton, and their daughters, Blakely, Emery and Breeze; Cameron (Alison) Hollman and their children, Maren and Casey; son, Daniel (Ramona) and their children, Talayna and Tyler; sisters, Tillie Rhinas and Rose Peterson; as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wendelin and second husband, Joseph Dieser; brother, Alex; sister, Mary and many in-laws.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Macklin, Saskatchewan with Father Santhosh Thekkekulam officiating. Interment will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery.
