Family and friends are invited to gather for a funeral for Jay on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Consort Sportex (Curling Rink) with Pastor Darrel Durksen officiating.
Interment will follow at the Lake Road Cemetery. As per what Jay would have wanted, everyone is encouraged to dress casually and wear jeans and a t shirt.
For those unable to attend in person, a live stream will be available through Jay's page on the Gregory's Funeral Home Inc. website - please note, this is the only space GFH will ever live stream from, we do not ever stream via Facebook.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jay only once, at Ashley and Sheldon's wedding in BC in June 2023. Though our conversation was brief, Jay and Jodi’s kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on me.
The service was beautiful, and I’m grateful for the chance to honor Jay’s memory. My deepest condolences go out to the entire family and the Consort community.

Jay was one of the kindest , loving and genuine men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He will be greatly missed but will NEVER be forgotten.
